Professional Experience
Daniel joined Perkins Law in December 2024. He began his career in a small Portland firm specializing in civil litigation. After a brief stint at a firm specializing in insurance coverage disputes, he then practiced in his own firm in Portland as a general practice lawyer for 15 years. His career was interrupted for medical reasons in 2015. He resumed practice in 2017, returning to the firm he first worked with in Portland.
Daniel has represented parties in divorce and abuse prevention cases and unmarried parents in child custody and support cases. He also has represented parties in a broad range of civil disputes.

Community Involvement
Daniel is a longstanding member of the Portland Toastmasters club, and has served as a club officer. He also has volunteered for many years on the planning committee for the OryCon science fiction convention, including serving as co-chair of the 2020 virtual convention and the 2021 live convention.
