Professional Experience
Nick joined Perkins Law, LLC in April of 2022. Before attending law school, Nick served over seven years in the United States Air Force—performing a wide range of medical services from search and rescue of downed aircraft to managing the office tasked with certifying individuals to launch nuclear weapons. During his time in the Air Force, Nick was first introduced to the practice of law while volunteering with the Office of Special Victim Counsel for victims of sexual assault at Royal Air Force Base Lakenheath in England. After leaving the Air Force in 2017, Nick moved to Oregon to lead a medical department within the Oregon Air National Guard. During this time, Nick worked as a wildland firefighter across southern and central Oregon.

During law school, Nick clerked for the Honorable Judge Jolie A. Russo at the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. In addition to gaining experience working for a federal judge, Nick interned for a non-profit firm, which provided family law services to modest-means Oregonians. Nick served as an associate editor for Lewis & Clark Law school’s flagship law review journal and was an active member of the law school’s space law society. Nick’s coursework largely focused on litigation strategy. Nick brings his diverse experiences to his family law practice to reach optimal results for his clients.
