Professional Experience
Michael joined Perkins Law, LLC in October of 2023. Michael was born and raised in Seattle. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Seattle University. Michael received a master’s degree in philosophy from University College Dublin before returning to the Pacific Northwest to receive his law degree from the University of Oregon. During law school, he interned for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County, externed for the District Court of Oregon in Eugene, served on the editorial board of the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation, and worked as a Bowerman Research Fellow for the University of Oregon Environmental and Natural Resources Center. As the product of a supportive extended family with deep regional roots, Michael understands the sensitivity required in addressing dynamic family needs and uses his keen intellect to fashion meaningful client-tailored solutions.Professional Activities
Michael is a member of the Multnomah and Oregon State Bar Associations, and a member of the Oregon New Lawyers Division of the Oregon State Bar Association.
Community Involvement
Michael volunteers for legal non-profit organizations working to safeguard the environment for future generations. He is also a member of the Oregon Bicycle Racing Organization (OBRA).Education/Awards
